Our School Support Service gives schools quick access to legal advice on the whole range of issues which might affect you – anything from HR, property, parent complaints, governance, admissions to contracts.

Our experience

It is important that schools have access to quality legal advice from experts who understand the education sector.  It will help you to manage risks and save you time and money if you speak to one of our team early on instead of waiting until an issue becomes more complicated and expensive to deal with.

What we can do for you

It operates as a legal “triage” service – when you contact us, your call will be answered directly by one of our solicitors who will provide you with advice on any legal query you have.   Our dedicated team are friendly and responsive and understand the challenges that schools have to deal with (we have responded to well over a thousand queries from schools) – whether you are a small primary school or a large multi academy trust (or somewhere in between).

We offer a choice between a Silver and Gold service, depending on the school’s needs and budget.  For further information on the service that is right for your school, please contact us and a member of our team will be happy to discuss the options and cost with you in more detail.

We also have a range of ‘add-on’ services which include:

  • Setting up teaching schools and trading subsidiaries
  • Governor and senior leader legal training sessions
  • Settlement agreement service
  • Dismissal green light service
  • HR Policy service
  • Advice on making significant changes to academies post-conversion
