Winckworth Sherwood is delighted to sponsor the Liverpool International Waterfront Forum which will take place on 3rd-4th June 2015.
Now in its second year, the forum aims offer a platform for UK and international waterfront cities to come together to discuss common themes and to build stronger international business alliances.
Supported by UKTI and Liverpool Vision, the 2015 conference will provide a platform for discussion on how best to use the waterfront as an asset for driving forward economic growth to the benefit of city, regional and even national economies.
Speakers announced include Anita Mitchell, general manager for sustainability at Lendlease, who will discuss the £3.12 billion Barangaroo South waterfront urban renewal project in Sydney.
The launch of the 2015 forum took place in Liverpool on Thursday 29th January. Planning Partner Colette McCormack was in attendance, alongside the Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson and the chairman of the Liverpool International Waterfront Forum Max Steinberg.
Winckworth Sherwood has extensive experience in advising on waterfront regeneration projects and lead on securing the planning permission for Liverpool Water. This 60 ha site forms part of the historic Liverpool waterfront.
