The Winckworth Sherwood Construction Breakfast Club series continues and our next seminar will be held on Wednesday 15th July 2015.

In this session Eleanor Kilminster and Charis Beverton will cover two separate subjects:

Recent Cases and Developments in Adjudication - Charis Beverton:

This section of the seminar will include the recent case on limitation periods - Aspect Contracts (Asbestos) Ltd v Higgins Construction Plc [2015] - the first Adjudication case to reach the Supreme Court plus other recent cases. It will also review rules and tactics decisions and look at Adjudication’s place in the range of dispute resolution tools available.

The Duty to Warn - Eleanor Kilminster:

What is the duty, who is duty-bound, how do you spot the duty, what do you have to do and what are the consequences if the duty is missed.  Often the duty concerns an obligation to warn about the mistakes of others in the project.  To what extent are they relieved of their own duty

This seminar will benefit contract managers, commercial managers, cost consultants, development managers, employment agents and surveyors.
