Education Seminar: Admissions and Exclusions

A school converting to academy may for the first time be its own admissions authority. This seminar will explore what this means and how schools might manage its admissions appeals and develop an admissions policy in light of an evolving Admissions Code. We will also look at the implications for academies under the Funding Agreement and in light of the Education Bill in relation to SEN admissions and exclusions.
