Moving on from the STPCD
The draft STPCD for 2013 was published by the DfE on 16 April and contains significant changes to Teachers' pay including the abolition of incremental pay progression on the main scale and the abolition of main scale spine points.
We are already responding to questions from schools about what this means for them and how this will work in practice. This seminar will tell you what you need to know about this significant change to teachers’ pay.
Many schools decide to review staffing structures from time to time but the process of implementing change can seem daunting. We will discuss some of the common pitfalls and offer guidance in the event that your school is undergoing a restructuring process or considers that it may do so in future.
The impact of social networking sites on the employment relationship
The use of social networking sites can have a big impact on the employment relationship, especially in a school environment. We will give an overview of some of the recent case law on this issue and provide some suggestions of good practice to helps schools to prepare policies and procedures on staff use of these sites.
