Planning authorities are requiring community schemes more than ever and many schemes have already been built.
Winckworth Sherwood and ENER-G are providing a series of three breakfast seminars on getting the most out of community energy schemes. Each of the sessions (held in June, September and October) will cover a different stage of the project: the major strategic decisions prior to the development, issues arising at the development and construction stage and finishing with tackling issues at management phase, both best practice and problem solving.
The second of these sessions 'development and construction issues' will be held on Tuesday 10 September and will cover the below:
- The suite of agreements between landowners, developers, social landlords, heat suppliers and heat consumers
- Issues in the development agreement, master agreement, energy centre leases, heat supply agreement (developer to social landlord) and heat supply agreement to consumers
- The role of ESCOs
- The ideal commercial arrangements for service contracts with operating companies, billing services providers, maintenance service provider, metering and pre-payment service providers
Who will benefit from attending?
