Seminar on the Implementation of the New Remedies Directive

Wed 30 Dec 2009

Winckworth Sherwood's Commercial and Procurement team are running a winter seminar in conjunction with 11KBW in the field of procurement law and would like to invite you to attend.

Public procurement processes are likely to come under increasing public scrutiny with the coming into force of The Public Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and The Utilities Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2009 on 20 December 2009. The new law is of relevance to contracting authorities, utilities and bidders involved in procurement exercises.

Our joint seminar will provide an insight into the means by which the new law seeks to enhance the legal review procedures and increase the remedies available for breaches of the public procurement rules. It will also review the consequences of getting it wrong and guarding against such outcomes.
