Mon 02 Dec 2013

Registration: 10.00 | Start: 10.30 | Lunch and Networking: 12.30

Minerva House, 5 Montague Close, London SE1 9BB

The aim of this seminar is for us to share some common experiences with local authority solicitors, officers and project managers involved in the academy conversion process and to compare how schools and local authorities both approach the process. In this seminar, we will provide a step by step overview of the academy conversion process for those that are not so familiar with the process and, for those that are, we will cover specific issues that will often crop up including identifying statutory responsibilities post conversion, implications of a sponsored academy conversion, the commercial transfer agreement, impact on significant local authority retained contracts, the future of traded services and land matters. We aim to finish with a question and answer workshop session to share experiences amongst participants.

Who is this for?
