The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) will tomorrow (27 March 2013) mark its first anniversary. It stripped down around a 1,000 pages of previous national policy, which was often vague, inconsistent or ambiguous, to about 50 pages with a much simpler and readily understandable message.
