Budget 2015 Update

The Chancellor produced his final budget before the election yesterday. In one of the longer budget speeches for some time, the Chancellor discussed the economic outlook, based on stronger growth and improving unemployment statistics. Much of the detail had been leaked prior to the speech, so there were few surprises. Some of the key changes for private individuals include the reduction in the lifetime allowance for pensions, the planned abolition of the annual tax return and improved flexibility in the way in which ISAs can be used.
