Intellectual Property

Intellectual property is a key consideration in many commercial dealings although it often gets overlooked. Intellectual property also usually constitutes one of the key assets of a business contributing to the goodwill and value of it. Conversely, incorrect or unauthorised use of another’s intellectual property can constitute a major liability. Successful organisations therefore need to be aware of their ability to protect, exploit, manage and enforce intellectual property rights in order to stay ahead of their rivals in an increasingly competitive market.
