Winckworth Sherwood strengthens London Real Estate team

Richard, previously a real estate partner at Reed Smith, joined Winckworth Sherwood’s Commercial Property team on 5 March. Gemma joined the firm’s Property Litigation team on 20 February from Nabarro LLP, with Rafe joining the Development team on 30 January from Eversheds LLP.
Richard brings to Winckworth Sherwood a broad range of experience covering real estate investment, landlord and tenant and development work. He has acted over many years for a broad spectrum of clients including a substantial restaurant operator, fund managers setting up real estate funds and stand-alone property investments for Middle Eastern high net-worth individuals, developers and businesses.

Gemma brings to the firm wide ranging experience advising on the full range of contentious real estate issues and recently dealt with a number of substantial redevelopment vacant possession strategies. Rafe is an expert in development, acquisitions and disposals, estate management and landlord and tenant work. He has also worked for the Homes and Communities Agency and been involved in Olympic Park development work.
