Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its London Real Estate teams with the appointment of solicitors Mary Ridgeon and James Mackay.
Mary joins Winckworth Sherwood’s market-leading residential plot sales team from London law firm Prince Evans, where she was its head of low cost home ownership. She acts for a number of housing associations creating schemes for plot sales across London and the South East. Recent schemes have included major developments in Tottenham Hale and around Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates stadium.
James joins the firm’s commercial real estate team from Nabarro LLP, where he was a senior associate. James’ clients include government bodies, local authorities, investment and pension funds and landed estates. He also has extensive experience in acting for lenders on property and corporate transactions.
Both Mary and James joined Winckworth Sherwood on 2 January 2013.
Roger Fitton, Managing Partner, Winckworth Sherwood, said: “I am delighted to see our Real Estate teams being strengthened in this way and give a warm welcome to James and Mary. The demand for our property services is growing considerably and I look forward to the contribution they will make to our continued success.”
