Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has been named the UK’s leading law firm for female and ethnic diversity in the workplace.
The Black Solicitors Network (BSN) in its annual Diversity League Tables seeks to recognise and promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the legal profession. The BSN highlights Winckworth Sherwood as demonstrating the strongest commitment to female and ethnic diversity amongst the UK’s 100 leading law firms.
The research takes into account the number of female, ethnic, LGBT and disabled staff across all roles in law firms and barristers’ chambers in the UK.
Winckworth Sherwood is committed to championing the value of a diverse workforce that underpins its continuing growth and success.
Karen Chalmers, Human Resources Director at Winckworth Sherwood, said: “We have always taken great pride in the approach we take in supporting all staff irrespective of background, sexuality, ethnicity and physical ability. This recognition from the BSN is a public statement of what we and our clients have always known and we are grateful to them.”
