Tue 05 Jan 2010

Law firm Winckworth Sherwood is pleased to announce that Charlie Proddow will join the firm as a partner in the development team within the housing and regeneration department. He will join the firm on 5th January 2010 from Bevan Brittan where he was also a partner.

Charlie specialises in property development and estate regeneration for private and public sector housing providers, advising on all aspects of development, including site assembly, land acquisition, onward disposals and lettings. He has particular expertise in advising registered social landlords on development and other related transactions, including consortium agreements, funding and grant agreements, local authority nomination agreements and joint ventures.

Commenting on Charlie's appointment, Roger Fitton, managing partner said: "We are delighted to welcome Charlie to the firm. His expertise in development and regeneration across the private and public sector will strengthen the offering to our housebuilders, developers and housing association clients. This is a crucial area of growth for us in the current market and Charlie's appointment will help in that expansion."
