Jill O'Reilly
Position: Chartered Legal Executive
Jill works in the Housing and Regeneration Department and has acted for Registered Providers of Social Housing and in Local Government in most areas of conveyancing. Her experience includes acquisitions and sales, planning and nomination agreements, development and ancilliary agreements, compulsory purchases, right to buy sales and leases, shared ownership leases and charging titles for security portfolios.
Jill now specialises in the property aspects of loan security for Registered Providers and has extensive experience on all property aspects of funding deals; in particular the charging and refinancing of large scale property portfolios.
Jill also lectures regularly for the National Housing Federation to RSL development officers and local authority staff on “Key Development Issues”, covering the conveyancing process leading to site acquisition.
Recent experience
- Acting for a large Registered Provider in a security trustee arrangement involved with charging property to the security trustee, dealing with all aspects of the transactions and updating the Title Registers at the Land Registry
- Acting for various Registered Providers involved with charging property to security trustee or other lenders and related due diligence work
