Karen Crossley
Position: Solicitor
Karen is a solicitor in the Housing and Regeneration Department in the social housing team acting for registered social landlords on a range of matters including supported living scheme acquisitions, residential developments and ancillary agreements, the taking and granting of leases and the property aspects of loan security.
Prior to joining the social housing team, Karen worked in the development and regeneration team, dealing with a wide range of transactions including development acquisitions and disposals for housebuilders and developers, leases and portfolio management.
Recent experience
- Completion of the acquisition of a number of supported living schemes with PCT grant funding for various RSLs
- Completion of the freehold transfer of three supported living schemes to an RSL
- Advising an RSL on the acquisition of a site for the construction of a multi unit supported living development in collaboration with an RSL consortium , Local Authority and Primary Care Trust
- Advising an RSL on the taking of a long lease of supported living units comprising part of a larger development
- Acting for a number of RSLs in connection with the property aspects of their security portfolios
