Keith has worked for over 25 years for housing associations and local authorities on every aspect of housing matters. He also acts for those who need social housing expertise such as banks, developers, health and education authorities. He has particular skill and experience in designing economical ways of handling volume work for associations and finding innovative ways of achieving their objects.
Recent experience
- Stock transfers 2006/8: London Borough of Lewisham - pre and post ballot transfer of a number of estates to subsidiaries of registered social landlords (RSL's), to new community gateway association (5500 units), and to RSLs; London Borough of Lambeth - transfer of estate to RSL; Rochford Borough Council - LSVT to new subsidiary of Hereward Housing Association acting for the Council pre and post ballot; acting for Vicinity Group in transfer of Ribble Valley; Mole Valley District Council transfer to a subsidiary of Circle Anglia
- New options: setting up Local Space with London Borough of Newham for temporary to permanent accommodation and acquiring a stock of 1500 units in two years
- Development acting for Walsall Housing Group on regeneration projects with Bovis
- Constitutional group arrangements for St Mathew Housing joining Genesis Group; Vale Housing Association on joining Sovereign Group
