Real Estate Projects

  • Structuring the corporate and joint venture arrangements between Barratt and L&Q in connection with their £1.1bn Project London joint venture portfolio (Altitude, Queensland Terrace, Fulham Riverside and Nine Elms Point) for the purposes of raising £120m debt
  • Leading on the corporate aspects of L&Q’s investment and participation in the £800m regeneration of Purfleet, to include film production studios
  • Advising Redrow on its participation in joint venture arrangements to support the regeneration of sites in Croydon
  • Advising Barratt on its joint venture arrangements with CPC Group for the development of Landmark Place on the Sugar Quay site near Tower Bridge
  • Advising a developer on its participation in a competitive tender exercise with Transport for London, which led to the developer’s appointment to the framework panel
  • Advising Affinity on its joint venture arrangements for the development of sites with Galliford Try and Linden Homes
  • Advising Circle on its joint venture development arrangements with Crest Nicholson
  • Advising various house builders on the acquisition of land via purchase of corporate vehicles

Commercial Projects

  • Advising a family office on the creation of new corporate entities for the purposes of owning and operating multiple aircraft
  • Advising on the procurement, commercial and corporate aspects of a project established to create a new national certification body, serviced by supply arrangements concluded via competitive tender
  • Advising Hertfordshire County Council on its arrangements for the procurement and subsequent transfer of the Croxley Rail Link project to Transport for London
  • Advising a company on various software development contracts and related arrangements for implementation of a national IT system, including migration from legacy systems
  • Advising various contracting authorities on the application of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015, related compliance issues, and management of unsuccessful suppliers
