Roger Fitton
Position: Partner
Roger is the firm's managing partner and heads the development and regeneration team. He specialises in large urban regeneration projects, residential developments and mixed use schemes for house builders, housing associations, local authorities, and charities. Roger lectures and has published articles on the legal aspects of regeneration projects.
Recent experience
- Representing Barratt on:
- The regeneration schemes at Dalston with the London Development Agency, London Underground and Hackney Council for 600 new homes, a Library and new 'Town Square' as part of a wider mixed use scheme
- The Olympics related site at St Andrew's Bow which, subject to planning permission, will provide a new community on a former hospital site for 900 new homes and a new health centre
- Canada Water London SE16 for upwards of 1000 new homes as part of a mixed use scheme with the London Borough of Southwark and British Land
- Acting for Redrow on the proposed regeneration scheme proposal at Silver Quarter, Canning Town.
- Advising and acting for Thurrock Council on the Schoolfield Road regeneration scheme for around 500 new homes and a new school.
- Acting for a religious charity on provision of a new secondary school and related transactions in Tower Hamlets.
- Representing Hanover Housing Association on its extra care schemes in Slough, Brighton, Wakefield, Darlington, Hull and Scunthorpe.
- Acting for Advance Housing and Support Limited on a stock transfer of special needs accommodation and service contracts from New Dimensions.
