Sofia Musyoki
Position: Solicitor
Sofia is a member of the Housing and Regeneration team and specialises in estate management and the acquisition of freehold reversions. Sofia advises on all aspects of Landlord, Tenant and Management Company rights, obligations and acts on other matters incidental to land development for management companies, national house-builders, Registered Social Landlords and investment companies.
Sofia was one of the speakers at Winckworth Sherwood’s Estate Management Conference in October 2009 and was involved in a training day held at Thames Valley Housing Association.
Recent experience
- acting on the setting up of plot documents and management agreement on a mixed use site of 500 residential, social housing and commercial properties being developed by 3 different house-builders
- acquisition of portfolios of freehold reversions for ground rent investment and management companies
- assisted in reviewing and advising on the managing agent and management company obligations and rights for mixed tenure sites for East Place Limited including drafting a management agreement
