Steven is a solicitor working in a project support role as part of the Education team (Ecclesiastical and Education department), assisting and advising on converting community and foundation schools to Academy status, and the setting up of free schools.

Recent experience

  • Acting and advising in respect of the setting up of a free school in the Home Counties

  • Acting for and advising a number of voluntary-aided and foundation schools (including a joint Church of England and Roman Catholic school) in the Midlands with respect to academy conversion
